Cleveland Kidnappings – A Tragedy or a Farce?
I’m sorry if I’m about to offend some of you with my next post. Well, actually no I am not sorry. I shouldn’t apologize for maybe having an opinion that differs from the more popular one. Here goes: I think that media has made a farce out of the Cleveland kidnappings. Not only that, but in my opinion, it has also victimized the three women further. First of all, Charles Ramsey. He is an amicable figure, yes. He is a goofy man, an unlikely hero but a hero nevertheless, according to the media anyway. His actions have been glorified, his endearing interview has been played, replayed and remixed numerous times. He has acquired a legion of twitter follows and McDonalds can’t wait to extend their gratitude towards him for advertising their deathly food-like items to the whole world at no charge.
Charlies Ramsey: Greatest HERO
The world has labeled Charles Ramsey as an American hero as he was able to rescue 3 girls being held captive for 10 years. Right in his backyard a crime was taking place and he didn’t even know it. But once he noticed something wrong he didn’t walk away. We went over and did what he felt was right, by helping Amanda Berry escape. He never realized at that moment he would unravel a major crime. Then within minutes after that rescue his life would change forever as the whole world would learn what he did.
Playoff Action : NHL
The NHL playoffs are well on its way as we see the best go head to head to win the Stanley Cup. It’s fun and
exciting and gives you a good excuse to stay up a late and of course drink. You get to see the cities come to life with banners and ads appearing almost everywhere. To add we also get to see bandwagon and hardcore fans unite and bring the excitement to a new level.
